Classical Composition I Instructional DVDs

Description

What if you could teach your child using the same writing program that produced such masters of the language as John Milton, William Shakespeare, and Benjamin Franklin? What if you could have the same composition curriculum used by Quintilian, the greatest teacher of ancient rhetoric, and Cicero, the greatest persuasive speaker of all time? Well, now you can. Jim Selby has blown the dust off of the writing curriculum used in the best schools for over 1500 years and put it in an easy to teach format that will revolutionize your home or private school curriculum. Memoria Press has joined with Selby to produce the newly-formatted Classical Composition program that employs systematic, graded exercises that begin with the basic rudiments of imitation and slowly and incrementally build to the more sophisticated techniques.Presented clearly and systematically in a structured curriculum, Classical Composition will give you a clear road map to writing excellence. Many composition programs are hard to use and involve too much guesswork. Not this one. Classical Composition tells you what to do and when to do it, and gives you sample answers so that you can compare your students' answers with those that you should expect. These DVDs accompany the student workbook and teacher guide. Taught by the editor of the Classical Composition series, it is like bringing a professional tutor into your home!
