Description

The Math-U-See Geometry Instruction Manual is necessary to teach the course and provides parents with an overview of the Math-U-See methodology, teaching instruction with examples, solutions to tests/problems, and more. Parents will appreciate the clear and approachable instruction that is easy to implement at home. The course teaches lines, angles, area, perimeter, volume, Pythagorean theorem, axioms and postulates, congruency, and similarity. The course emphasizes vocabulary and practical applications of geometry, as well as traditional geometry with proofs. An introduction to trigonometric functions is included. Additional requirements for the course are the Math-U-See Geometry Online Instruction with Video (or DVD) and the Math-U-See Geometry Student Workbook and Tests. These are also available in a convenient Set. Students will also need a protractor, compass, and straight edge.
