As I am Known

Description

Jacob was only a year old when he was taken from his mother. Now, as a young man, he is forced to leave home. Apprenticed to the High Priest's steward, a man with a thirst for vengance on Jacob's family, Jacob learns what a perilous place the world can be. Escaping abuse, he runs away, shaming his father and setting a man-hunter loose on his trail. Hiding with friends in another city, Jacob encounters Arin, a childhood friend he has not seen in years, and the two of them grow close. But Jacob soon finds out that Arin has an unusual gift. She is a prophetess, and she has had a disturbing vision that concerns him. With a hunter behind him and the threat of disaster ahead, Jacob is forced to make some hard decisions for himself and for Arin. Will their new-found love survive the coming storm?
