To make life easier for homeschooling families, Master Books has compiled some of their most popular “real books” into sets, complete with handy Parent Lesson Plans (PLP). Each set focuses on a specific science field (or related fields) based on a biblical view of Creationism. The Planner is three-holed punched and has perforated pages for easy removal and storage in a binder (not included). It contains an easy-to-follow Lesson Schedule for a 36-week course, done three days a week, with each lesson taking approximately 30 to 45 minutes. The Planner also includes worksheets for each chapter of the books in the set, some teaching helps, quizzes for assessment, optional semester tests, and answer keys. This curriculum is designed to be a one-year high school course that examines the two opposing views of the origin of life – evolution and creationism. It uses Master Books’ Evolution Series, Volume 1, The Grand Experiment, which includes a Student Text, Teacher’s Guide, and DVD. An additional Parent Lesson Plan makes it easier to work through the materials and offers study guide questions and vocabulary to supplement learning.
