This Biblioplan Family Guide for Medieval History is a component of the Biblioplan Medieval History course; this resource provides the lesson plans and concise reading assignments to cover US and World history from the Fall of Rome to the Renaissance, including Pre-Columbian America, the Age of Discovery, the Renaissance, the Protestant Reformation, Elizabethan England and more.
Thirty-four weekly lesson plans/book lists are included for Grades K-12, with lessons split primarily between K-2, 3-5, 5-8, and 8-12. The beginning of the book provides lists of the required and recommended spines for the curriculum and for each unit. The lesson plan section of the book is organized by weeks and features the unit and weekly topic at the top of the page. A grid organizes the curriculum with a column for classtime readings for Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3, with separate grade-organized grids for literature readings and missionary readings. There are also lesson plan grids for writing ideas, hands-on activities, and optional reading ideas. Reading list books are annotated.
212 pages, spiralbound paperback. Pages are reproducible for in-family use only.
BiblioPlan is a four-year classical Christian history curriculum (Ancient History, Medieval History, Early Modern History, and Modern History) that's designed to be used with multiple ages.
This 2nd Edition follows a new scope and sequence. Please understand that while the old scope is close to the new, the two don't fit together seamlessly. We do indicate in the Family Guide how to line up the old material with the new scope and sequence.
